Hi everyone! My name is Meghan and I’m a junior at Whitney. This is my 5th year in the MUN program, and I currently serve as the program’s Head of Middle School MUN. This program helped open my eyes to current events and issues in our world, and because of that, I’m looking to work in journalism in the future. Outside of MUN, I love to read, volunteer, and listen to music. I’m so excited for all the intellectual debate and discussion that will take place at this year’s conference, and I look forward to seeing you all this May!

Chair: Rhea Raman

Hey guys! My name is Rhea Raman, and I’m honored to be your Head chair at the 17th annual WHSMUN Conference this year. I’m currently a sophomore, and have been an active member in the MUN program for 4 years so far.  Joining MUN has, genuinely, been one of the best decisions I have made. I’ve had so much fun through this program, and have met some great people. Asides from MUN, I’m in various clubs within school such as Mock Trial, Key Club, and Shanti Club, and hold cabinet positions such as: The Head Freshmen Director for MUN, and Co-Culture Show Head for Shanti Club. Outside of school, I’ve been doing classical Indian dancing for 11 years now, and have been singing for 4. On weekends, I’m usually dancing, rewatching Sherlock for the 100th time, last minute studying, or listening to throwback songs. With that being said, I’m excited to be your Head Chair, and I look forward to a great conference! Good Luck!

Vice Chair: Janmesh Kalra

Hello, Delegates! My name is Janmesh Kalra and I’m the vice-chair of your committee. I currently am in my freshman year of school and have about 3 years of experience. Throughout middle school, MUN allowed me to seize the moment and showcase my speaking abilities. MUN is a common place where I can meet with people and collaborate upon worldwide politics. My favorite part of Model UN is giving those impromptu speeches and when you don’t just read off of a paper. In the past year, I have been involved in many STEM practices, and have tutored my peers. Besides MUN, I enjoy playing on the school tennis team and I am a proactive leader in discussing politics. I am quite “hype” for committee.
